Can you show us the HTML you use in your site? Please use the [ CODE ] and [ /CODE ] delimiters (w/o spaces, of course) when doing so...

well, it's a simple table. kind of [Linked Image] it's got a top, left column and bottom. all fixed width. then a center that fits in snugly. the code it self is reeeeally long. but that's not really my problem. i don't know what ubb file to edit. and where to. i see some html in the Ultimate.cgi file. can i take that html and surround it so it's inside my table? i mean, is it that simple?

am i making any sense? my brain is fried from work [Linked Image]

if i am, and you still want to see my code, you can go to http://hockeyfights.net. or let me know, and i'll post the whole darn thing here [Linked Image]

thanx,
david

The professional versionhas a header/footer file. You can start the table in the header, and end it in the footer. Therefore -- i recomend buying it in order to do this.

yes, i saw that. and that would partially help. but my main concern is the menu on the left and making it fit inside everything, not taking up 100% of the window. i probably will buy it. the money is worth the time it would take me to learn how to "hack" the code that much. but i'm still curious about getting it into my format. cuz if i can't do that, no ubb [Linked Image]

In the full version, Ted set the margins equal to zero, so it will be flush left and flush right.

Did you have to hack up the code, or did you simply modify the header and footer to get your page like that? I'd really appreciate it if there was a simple solution to customizing these bulletin boards with some sample header and footer code. As you may have guessed, cgi is not my forte. Thanks in advance for the help.

thor-
all i did was have the header and footer code put my ubb in a table. i also have a style sheet that i used in the header of all pages. i don't think i did any code hacking for the appearance.

Could you post your header and footer? Thanks. --Mark

umm. i want to, but it's reeeally long, and i don't want to **** anyone off here. you can see it by just viewing my source.

i mean, the easiest is:

header

here's your header
left side

where the bulletin board is

footer:

footer

hope that helps. i'm just trying to be short.
