to have the 'Last Post' entry shown on another site?

On my site I want to show the 5 last posts with link to them on my mainsite, so that my visitors don't need to check the forum to see if there are new posts. Can I do this with ssi?

Provided that your forums and main site are both on the same server, this is what you're looking for , I think.

If they're on different servers, i don't believe you can, because SSI doesn't work that way.
