How does ubbdev accomplish putting their system into or on HTML? (for lack of better words)

For example, when you enter in a forum, in the URL above you get something like this

https://www.ubbdev.com/ubbcgi/ultimatebb.cgi/forum/8.html?

That is done using the spider option in the control panel. It's not really a html file, it just fakes out the server to think it's really seeing one... mainly for search engines...

Well, the .html at the end is for human eyes. Looks nice, doesn't it? smile
