I have implemented a hack that allows me to send a pm to anyone simply by typing their name in; however, I think there is a more efficient way to do it.
I vaguely remember someone writing an improved routine for finding a member number based on the username. Does anyone know where I can find the code?

P.s. I won't be releasing this hack. It works on my board because we don't use public names. I force the public name to be the login name. Therefore, what works for me won't work for most boards. Sorry guys.
