Did you set the new pathes for the member files?
yea members path is fine....
its somthing else, im not sure...
maybe someone else can help
http://www.infopop.com/ubb_support/support_ubb_transfer.html here states that you need to rerun the initial setup again and not to login using an exisitng admin name, but to ceate a new one to setup the board on the new server.
but when i create a new name....
i get a software error....

i believe i have to chmod, the entire members directory to 777...but i presently cant...
i need to let me server do it thru telenet...so i'll jus wait to see if it works,,,,,,,

any other suggestions or problems u see....
now i cannot log in...board is showing up...and before you say you must create a new log in....

when going to cpanel that option is not prompted....

---------------------------------

also server errors throughout....

make sure you have uploaded the files in ASCII/Binary mode, and try to chmod it via FTP (Cuteftp has this function)
chmod the entire Members directory????
I mean i have over 2700 member files.....
and i never had to do this before
ok i chmodded every file in the Member directory.....

still nothing, my mian problem is i cant log into my cpanel....and i need to get in there so i can rebuild Member Stat files...

are you sure you have uploaded *.cgi and *.pl in ascii mode and the *.gif and whatever in binary?

try..

chmod 777 members dir
chmod 777 all files in members dir
chmod 755 all files in cgi-bin
chmod 777 variables vars_*
chmod 777 Templates *.pl
chmod 777 noncgi files
i had to chmodded something you suggested...an it worked, but...now on the message board,

that FYI Member number ERROR thing shows up....and i tried to rebuild members but it would only go thru the first set of 400...an not continue thru the rest of the of the 2700...

any answers....

and thanks click...
do you have ICQ ? its faster to talk online..

do: ls -la *
on members directory and see if all member files are with permissions "-rwxrwxrwx"

don't now more what it can be.. maybe someone else can help you. Once more time, see if you have uploaded all files in ASCII except *.gif and *.jpg (binary)
aim = vgskillz

all i have is aim...but my problem is no longer my board showing....but instead my Real Members displaying....it says 793, meanwhile i have 2000+.......
and all files are in Members directory

look for membertotal.cgi in ur members directory and change it to however many members you have. Also you may want to check your last_member.cgi to make sure its saying the last member's number. So if you have exactly 2000 members (just an example) it should say 00002000 in ur last_number.cgi.
