I got the latest avatar hack, avatar_ubb6_v0.0007e

But once I have uploaded it, then made all the changed in the cp, it refuses to show the avatar drop down menu

Any tips?

Bad installation most likely, recheck your modifications.

You have got to remember it uses an already existing field. Did yhou ever turn off the field "Your Picture:" in registration settings? If so it will not show. Just check it out to be sure.

Ok, I went and took a quick look at your board. You must not have hacked the Public_* templates because it should replace the Your Picture field. Rehack like GoTorankusuKu said.

Yep, I had the picture set to show in option 3 and make it an optional choice

Thanks for the tip guys, I started from a fresh board backup, and it worked fine this time, no problem at all

Well actually, I do have 1 problem....

The Avatar text is in french and in the INSTALL file it said to check the package for the english version, but it only contains 1 vars_wordlets_avatar.cgi which I am assuming is what it means by the wording file?

English wordlets are inside the readme file. RTFM.
