There is any hack that can announce the user when he has new privete message ? (For version 6.0)

I use PM Notification on Front Page . It does what it's supposed to.

It's called easy's view pm info. If i've been reading it right, the only way to perfectly get it right is to turn off your cache which can kill your server(if you have a heavy amount of users).

And the hack does not seem to work on it !
