smiliescp hack - UBB.Developers

got everything installed......but when i goto add a smilie the snapshot comes up as a red X..........what could be wrong???

ok i got it now.......the image shows up now.......but now they won't show up if someone types in the special code for the smilie........

ok starting over......how do i get it to be like your board......where you click on the smilie and the code is automatically pasted into the msg field, or what hack do i need to do that??

There are 2 hacks one is cwm's smilie hack and the other pick 'n click hack for message icons by Turbanator

ok i have both of those installed......however, when i open up the smilies.html and click on a smilie the code isn't placed into the msg box???

for some reason if i click on a msg icon it will insert that icon into the msg box..

ok you need newest smilies.cgi and you can find that in latest code buttons hack

but first make a back for your old smilies.cgi and replace that with the new one and you'r done.

all i have is smilies.html

Oh that code above works only when you post new topic but not on a reply for that you can better install the smilies cp addon with the smilies .cgi or the code buttons hack its also in there

Very simple man you just add that extra code "$ReplyMessage" to the new code you insert :rolleyes:

See you struggle thrue the hacks, and you did everything by your self, so what did you learn from this?

learned alot......but still having trouble with that upload.html......what do i set my paths too???

also with the smiliecp hack when i click on the smilies legend all the smilies are sqeezed down to like 15 x 15 or something like that, how do i set it so they are their original size?

find the width=15 height=15 in the smilie.cgi and delete them.

Another tip make a link from your smilies legen above cwm smilie hack to the smilie.cgi not smilies.html...

ok got the smilies all done.....got the upload.html fixed.......now just gotta get the custom avatar hack figured out
