In the attachments hack.. inside attach_library.pl you can set certain groups to use attachments.. the first two are easy (Adminstrators and Moderators) but how can I set a new group like (Special Selected Users)?.. I mean I can write the name but how can I choose to have this user inside this group and that user outside?

Did you try to install the Attachments hack? because if you did, you would know that you can set 4 groups of users (including Admins and Moderators) to allow them to use the Attachments.

I don't want anyone to use the attachments I have because I will set a large space capacity and I will grant this privilage to limited users. But I couldn't figure out how to do it.

No I haven't installed it, Just wanted to find a bit out about it.

Will it accept unique status as a group? I am using Custom Status by Jimbo.. can I set for example a special status named "Uploaders" for a group of users?

You would have to do that manually to the people who u want as Uploaders on Jimbo Custom Status.
