As requested, but not possible. MSN doesn't have a web based interface like AIM, ICQ or Yahoo! does. This is one of the only possible ways to do an MSN hack. There is an image in our database for this.

shouldnt it be $this_msn at the beginning of the second part instead of $this_yahoo?

Ok I installed it and tried doing the cutomfield and I get:
You did not complete all required fields.
You did not complete: allowHighBit
ยป Use your browser's back button to return.
All the fields are completed!
any ideas?!?!?!?
Actually, MSN does have a web based interface. go to
http://www.ninemsn.com.au (MSn Australia), and log in...
There is a hack for the MSN messenger , which works great with VB , it shows your online buddies and your new messages
I've seen that hack, could someone port it over to UBB?
Do you know where to find that VB hack?
Rodolfo
Heres a link for a VBS board:

Well can someone port this hack?
Yeah that'd be tight if you could get the MSN hack to work like AIM, ICQ, and YHO. Good luck on converting it people
.
PHP and perl arent cross compatible...
That code doesnt help.
Yes MM , we know that .. but we put the hack here to figure out how it works .
any way it will never works like the icq or aol hacks , this one works with anyone who have a msn messenger acount even if he is not a member in the board he will still be able to view his online buddies and new messages number .
I got it working on an ASP based forum. There wasn't much PHP code in there at all. Just the font and color definitions that would be defined in vBulletin. It was very, very easy to get working.
The only problem I can see is the mc.vbs file. If your server doesn't support it, then it would not work.
You are correct that it won't work like ICQ, AOL, or Yahoo hacks that can check the online status of anyone, whether you have the Instant Messenger Program running on your computer or not. What I did was have it hidden if the person isn't logged in, again this was on an ASP based forum, not on a UBB. But you should be able to hide stuff from people who aren't logged in, right?

For God's sakes, if noone else will do it, I'll try and port it. For all people who wanted it, look for it by the end of tonight.
