For the changes with Who is Online 3.8 ....

What does this version change? Does it allow the hit counter to not reset when a new thread is posted?

The problem is that the Who is Online print the side before my hack have made the changes.

With the changes here Who is Online make his changes, my hack make his changes, the cache is saving and than the side will be print

You must first install the Who is Online Hack.This is a part of the Who is Online Hack.

hey e@asy , does it works if the login.cgi hack is installed ?
i installed it many times but it always works for the first time correctly and then it doesn't response or it increase by 3 or 2

i tested also with WOL 3.9, SAME PROBLEM OCCURED

hi e@asy ! Firstly i want to say thanks to ur great hack! It now working fine on my board. Just a small problem want to ask, hope there will be an answer.

the problem is that after installed the hit hack 1.12e(Not include with the who's online 3.8 version). the layout of my board changed as the following pic:



I am sorry that my board now using the Big5 coding, so may be let me explain further. please look at the last column of the right hand side, there should be the moderator column, however, now it become a very narrow column, and this making the layout of the board ugly.

I know that the layout can be edit in the public_forum_summary.pl , but i am not good at perl, so i donno where should be edited.
can e@asy or other guys can give me a kindly help on telling me how to edit the width of the coloumn ? Thx first and sorry for my poor english. hope u can understand what i am talking.

I enter the cp, choose"No, do not use Hit-Counter in the summary forum." and "Yes, use Hit-Counter in the summary forum last post.", then everything solved! the layout of summary page now become so great!! as follow :

hi~ it is me again. but this time seems a big problem, my ubb is 6.04e.. the hit hack 1.12e... seems sometimes will display a abnormal counting on the topic. For eg, sometimes it shows a topic have 15000 hits rate.. then later it becomes normal..

and also sometime the counting will automatically decrese, for eg, last night i saw a topic already over 300 hit rate, but today it drops to 147 hit rate..

why will be like these ?
is it due to i actived the cache option ?

Yes, sometimes it will happen.But from 100 test only 2 or 3.I'm working on it.In the moment clear the cache and it is okay.The counter is right.But teh display make the trouble.

I have check the code in ubb_forum_sumary.cgi, that is correct. No missing that string.

However, as many ppls of my board pointed out the problem of abnormal display of counting, finally yesterday I disabled the cache function of UBB, then seems it is normal now. The problem, can be said to have a temporily solution.

Is there any chance of getting this in Multi Hack or Script Hack E@SY? I am not good at altering Code and i often create more problems than i can handle..

not sure if this is the "view counter" mentioned.

I am trying to DL this hack and keep getting your "ultimatbb" instead....
