instead of having the variable replaced by a text box to change your public name etc, it has the variable as well as using a hyperlink which triggers a hidden text box to come up, making it cleaner. Look at the DEMO

never saw the original so woudln't have ground to compaire. We did something similar for just our sites between 6.4-6.7; i'm really a sticlker to having the ability to edit everything lol
