For those of us who cannot even begin to imagine how you would go about a project like this (I can manually edit files to install mods, but don't expect me to understand how or why they do what they do ), I suspect that the main question will be "when can we get our hands on it".

So, is there any roadmap for the development of UBB.Portal?

Well, you can get it when it's released to the public.... (I always wanted to say that first )

What is the aproach? Is it gonna be a database driven or a flatfile?

Hopefully it's gonna be database-driven, but some hosts only support Perl, so... Better wait for a developer to get here

Currently, I don't believe it will be database driven as that would more difficult to integrate with certain parts of the UBB.
