Am I able to move my discussion board to another server, maintaining all users and their posts? How do I go about doing this easily, or is not easy?

i posted a post like this in the Installation forum a couple of forums below this....

well, i finally got mine up and working, and its pretty easy

i had my board on hypermart, and i wanted to transfer it to netfirms...

i just opened my hypermart account in Cute FTP (my FTP program), and i downloaded ALL of the board files (cgi, ubb, variables, etc.) onto my computer

then, i logged into my netfirms account with my FTP program and i uploaded all of my files...

all it is is "Download > Upload > CHMOD"

chmod your cgi directory AND the files inside of it (i had to do mine seperately) to 755, then log into your control panel and update all of your direct paths and such

sounds confusing, but take it step by step and hopefully itll work for you
