Does anyone know how to remove this?
I'm talking about the drop down box where the visitor can choose to show topics from last 10 days - etc. This would appear on individual forum pages.

Can I remove code from ONE page and have it disappear from all individual forum pages?

I looked on the public_forum_summary.pl page and the public_common.pl and public_forum_page.pl - not sure what to remove here. Or is it a .cgi thing?

Would appreciate any advice smile
It's in there, in the subroutine that generates the page top/header.

The drop down code itself isn't there, but there is a $variable that contains that HTML.

Note that if you do remove it, users will have no way to change their PREFERED days view... i.e. their own view will override your defined one.

Thanks Charles, we did remove it.

The problem is that we have very inexperienced users and OLD PEOPLE as visitors and a less cluttered bulletin board encourages people to sgn on to our few forums. We have had a positive response so far-

If things improve we may add this back at some point.

More a navigation/user thing than a UBB thing. Your help appreciated and I will take your advice SERIOUSLY (how's that for a compliment)
-thanks A LOT
