I need to know where to look to remove the 2 occurances of » that appear just to the left of "Hello, *****" and directly below at "** New Personal Messages".

Well the ASCII code is:

Search for that in public_forum_summary.pl, and delete the correct ones. There should be one near $show_logout for the "Hello ____" thing if my memory is correct and another near some javascript for the private message cookie .

I think Fahd is correct, except that it's public_common (instead of public_forum_summary)

I had already found 4 instances of "»", and tried nuking them, but it did nothing!

I'll look at it again though...

If using the cache, be sure to clear it, then try the page again.

I tried it again, clearing cache a couple of times, but nothing changed...

Actualy it is public_forum_summary.pl.

I deleted those myself a while ago from my 6.3.1.

The bad news: they will still show on some other pages.
