I've had to disable the PHP Accelerator because all its coming up with the occasional error.
Code
Accelerator Error:
I can't seem to open the existing counter file (
/mypath/ubb/cache-95YS6LGK/ubb_files/counter/2003-12-cache.cgi
)
Check that its parent directory exists. Perhaps the path is incorrect?
Ive cleared the cache, and that physical file exists, so what could be causing this problem.
Any ideas?

Thanks!

Thanks for the reply Randy, I'll try moving the members dir elsewhere and see how that goes.

Cheers

Good luck, weren't you still on 5.47 not so long ago?

Nahh Ive been on the 6.X series for a while now, but I didnt move from v5 until v6.3, was quite busy and I wanted to wait a while before upgrading.
Anyhow that fix didnt fix my problem, I moved the members files out of the cgi-bin and I still get the php error. Hrmmmm... Im stumped as I know ziltch about php, perl no probs! Might have to start learning php!

Are the permissions on the cache folder proper?

They're set to 775, May change it to 777 to see if it makes any difference.

Cheers

Hrrmmm, Ive set full permissions now, 777 and I get this error
Code
Cant create file
/path/ubb/cache-95YS6LGK/ubb_files/counter/2004-01-cache.cgi
Althogh it did already create the files
2004-01-dynamic.cgi
2004-01.cgi
but it can't create
2004-01-cache.cgi

Very strange!

try editing the cache password in vars_config, the go update the php settings.

then clear the cache

Is that ok to change? Can I chnage it to anything?

Cheers
