I am sorry, sounds like a stupid question, but I have already installed the forums and now I want to turn off the html and I can't seem to find where I can do it.
If you have a second to spare, please answer, I need it.

You can do this by editing the individual board from the admin section. One of the options is to allow html or not. Note that when html is off and you are logged in as an admin you will still get the option to post with html but your regular users will not.
