i want to be able to add a couple more fields to the registration form (since right now anyone can just register, no questions asked). i want the ability to have a couple custom fields where i can ask new people to fill in some more info, other than username and email. ubb classic has this feature, but it seems to be absent in ubb.threads

thanks!

welcome dr

This would involve adding some additional fields in the members table. I haven't seen this done yet, but remember reading just yesterday that a member had done it. Keep an eye on the "suggestions" and "beta" forums.

I have the same issue. I need to add additional fields to the "Registration" process. Did you ever find out how to do this?

Thanks.

Just to clarify: Are you talking about database fields ro requiring them to fill in more of the "users profile" information?

I added a few database fields for a hack that I wrote but they are not required for the regisration process.

But requiring them to is pretty simple and it is very possible you just need the details on how.

Hello,
I'm talking about the fields for the "New User" registration. Right now there are only four. ( Username, Password,Verify Password and Email) I want to add a couple of fields for (Company Name, Address, etc...)

Thanks.

If you want to see a sample of what I'd like to be able to do you can go to www.isonews.com and look at their registraon page. Thanks.
