Fellow Threadafficianados,

I know the answer to this is going to be "Hey dummy, disable it in the config settings"

I tried that. In my config settings I have "Allow the [image] markup tag to be used in forums" set to NO.

But when you go to the forums to post the image tag is there and works like a champ.

And yes I am logging out as Admin and using a test account with user privlidges.

This seems like a "no brainer"...any ideas on this. Is there more to this setup that I am not seeing ?
Hrm..... seems to be working ok for me.

You can delete the post after you look.

If it's disabled in the config file, it'll disable the [ image ] tag on new posts from that point forward. It won't have any effect on previous posts.

Hope that helps.
Ohh...So "disable" means it will not recognize the tag when rendering the post!

I thought disabling the image tag would make it disappear from the Instant UBBCode panel. It seems like a feature that has been disabled shouldn't be offered to the user as an option.

Maybe this would be another item to slide into the next update...

Thanks Josh!
Ah - yes, it doesn't adjust the instant ubbcode.

You can edit the ubbt_instant_ubbcode.tmpl template file to remove the option. Hollar if you'd like me to do that for you.
