I am not the only one getting this error by the way and I am not sure but I believe this part "6.gif" is from an old avatar that I used in the past (not my current one) if that is of any relevance

Aww Crap- I tried to upload this Avatar to my forums and got the above error and apparently even though I got the error it must have worked and to my surprise I must have linked my profile to this board -lmao But on my board its still the same prior Avatar.

Feel free to moderate if you feel its uhh--inappropriate
I will be going back to the old Avatar once I get the eror fixed

You didn't say what version - but if it's 6.5 beta 6 you'll have to fix this bug:

before you can edit your avatar.

Thanks it worked and now my honor is once again restored (and my Avatar)

Infopop purged all the 6.5 beta bugs. but it was fixed in 6.5. final.

yeah, but my licence has expired and i'm not planning on upgrading just yet.
I dont suppose anyone knows by memory what this fix was?

It had to do with a call to addslashes for the avatar stuff being applied twice. If you want to send me a PM with access I'll have a look.
