A happy new year to all of you!

I notice several problems with my forums in the last few days. Some (a few) users get 500 internal server errors. I can also reproduce this while opening a quite large thread in threaded mode -> always a 500.

On my development server at home the same thread shows fine without any problem. So I checked if the provider made changes to our shared server... and yes, they just updated to PHP 4.3.10 some days ago (and MySQL 4.0.23). So I guess to find the reason there.

Anyone else noticed 500's internal server errors after upgrading to this PHP version?

make sure the server owner updated the zend optimizer when he updated the PHP. I've been reading about people having trouble with 4.3.10 only when the owner forgot to update zend

We did have problems with this upgrade also some days ago, their turned safe mode on...
