I know this error if the mySQL database is down. Check the Database engine and try to access the tables with phpmyadmin.

ya, i can access it throught phpmyadmin. just put in a ticket with the host to make sure they have it running..

Im worried now...

SQl server is up and running perfect they say.

Sounds like ubbt.inc.php is missing or corrupt. Reupload it.

will have to wait till 5pm tonight. IM at work now.

this is truly annoying.

Ok, I had it done from home and its still wacked.

The error message changed though.
Is the main.inc.php there? Try to reupload your backup of this file.
