i am new to the ubb software how do i add hacks and such please explain everything in a simple way and as basic as possible

Well the real issue becomes if the hack is compatible with the version you are using.
But most all hacks are well documented.
I know you are using the most current version 7.5.6 so what hack are you interested in?

Well, every "hack" has instructions on what code has to be added and where.

You'll use a program like Edit Plus or Notepad (no, not Word, not Wordpad, not WordPerfect), so long as it's a Plain Text (doesn't add special crap like italicize, bold, etc), then follow what the "hack" says to change/add.
