But one thing, if you were to use one of them for a category BG wouldnt ppl using higher resolutions see it repeat over and over?

of course u could easily fix it by just putting the bolored part in a new cell and the text in the first cell... but im not sure if everyone knows how to do that...

aah! lol... sorry... just had a major brain fart... adding the extra cell would mean u would have to edit the templates, a MUCH easier solution would be to make the bgs 1600 px wide.. (im pretty sure ppl arent using desktops THAT big yet)... i could change the image to 1600 if u got better things to do...

Yea if you could that's be great, altho for those who want them as category backgrounds, you can make sure UBB is at 700 px's.

u can still use the 1600 ones as category bgs, they will look the same, and will fit all resolutions

can someone send me the link to this hack...the only one I found, is the cosmetic links..gradient hack..I couldn't find the category backgorund one...

But I don't want to hack my links....I just want the category background..
