I decided to post in this thread instead of the other one. Here is my entry:



Just a note, I noticed some of the other graphics in the other, main thread were a lot more than 22 K.

EDIT: Here are the specs on my pic:
size= 12K
width= 550
heigth= 59
That meets all the requirments. Oh yeah, it looks perfect (blends in) on a black (#000000) BG.

Sounds like someone's been messing with her member file..

I dont know but if any one should deserve a "Wow! Those banners are cool!" it should be Tolitz not Ne0... Tolitz took his time making them and theyr good, especally the bg is complex. All that Ne0 did was interlace, slap on some text, just plain text. That's really not doing much...

Click on the Banners link and get a cup of coffee, there's 38 banners there and they will take a while to download if you are on a dial-up... You get one vote, so be sure and go through the whole list, I put the holiday banners up top, and the rest in no particular order. I apologize, 4 were eliminated for being over the size/ weight limit.

Be sure and check the whole list, some very nice ones are at the bottom, including syinide's excellent contribution. Top 7 will be rotated throughout the site thru January 1, 2001.

just a disclaimer for the opinion i gave sonner in this post..

im not a designer, and i have great respect for this kind of work.. i just wanted to express my likings toward neo's work back then. never said that the other ones are bad, cause i think they're not. i had the oportunity to see a lot of design works to this moment, but im not "visually ..." (well, i looked for the verb that describes a person that knows how to read and write, and i couldnt find it sorry ^^) yet. neither know technics to make them.
