PHP 5.2 beta released - 03/04/2001 5:35 AM
The beta version of the PHP 5.2 version has just been posted into the download area. This upgrade concentrated on the admin section but had an effect on many files throughout the entire program. Please read the UPGRADING file included with the download package for instructions on this upgrade as you will need to change some file permissions to be able to use the online editors.
As with all betas that are released here this will remain in beta so I can get feedback on any problems/issues users have with the new features. Any and all feedback would be appreciated as this will help me create better instructions for UPGRADING if you let me know if you run into any problems with permissions, etc.
