Come one, come all! The CI Host User Group (yes, that's CHUG for short! []/w3timages/icons/wink.gif[/]) forums are now up and running! Please keep in mind that, as of yet, these are unendorsed by CI Host, and probably won't be until we build a solid user base.

Hehe, now that's funny[]/w3timages/icons/laugh.gif[/]. Glad I'm not the only one who forgets things like that[]/w3timages/icons/wink.gif[/].

I've been trying to check out the site in the last 2-3 hours and all I got was "Unable to contact ... server could be down ... " I think that does say sth. about the host right of the bat? []/w3timages/icons/wink.gif[/]. If the users are from here then your forums should be fine and helpful but if users come from some other places, you might want to watch out closely. I have seen many CIH discussions and most of them turned out to be ugly and the threads were always closed by the admin/mod, seriously.

Too true... hmm.. I was just able to login to the site no problem.. must have been a dns-blockage somewhere... []/w3timages/icons/wink.gif[/] As far as ugly conversations... people can only vent so much. If an admin or moderator needs to step in, then, obviously, it's not a very constructive conversation.

User Groups are meant to try and make things better. Venting is fine... as long as you offer solutions along with it... I would like it to become a place where users of CI Host can go to in order how to make their site better, learn what is capable of being done when hosted at ci host, etc...

Let's hope that that is possible!

But we do need moderators to re direct the discussions
