It says 'Valid XHTML 1.0!' on the right side bar there, but when you click it, it'll show MANY errors, like unquoted stuff.

So it's not really valid.

ummmm... the only thing that doesn't validate is the ad code (which I can't change and has nothing to do with the forums itself)

yeah, we've got a couple things left as far as quotes and code goes, but all sigs and such should be xhtml compliant if they've been updated since we uploaded the code.
