I hope this is the right place to post. Before you even consider closing this thread, read carefully.

I made a post in the UBB 6.1x Mods Suggestion to point out a BUG "Major Bugs in UBB6.1x", the thread was immediately closed, blaming me for suggesting a username steal.

Please do some research b4 you start the flame.

I begin to doubt the ability of the Mods in here. If you don't understand the point I'm making, at least give it a try.

I'm just trying to help, to make UBB a better software. The hack I posted there was meant to improve the code.

point was noted... and it may have been a little harsh to close the thread, it was also a bit harsh to call it a major bug. A search at the IP support forums would have revealed that it's a designed behaviour since the beta days of 6.0x.

You can post the code as a modification to the UBB, it's not any different than "admin see all passwords"-type mod... but you wouldn't call passwords of other admins and moderators being hidden a major bug either.
