Hi Scream,

I have a registration date that entitles me to the 35$ registration, but I was wondering if it was possible to wait until you have Credit Card registration available bfore ordering? I know that you want people to order before June30th. I hope this doesn't inconvenience you in any way.

I might be able to extend this for you but it will be quite some time before I can process credit card orders. I still have to research what all it takes, apply for a merchant license, etc. etc. So we might be looking at quite the wait.

Hi Scream,

Thanks for the quick reply. If it takes that long I will look into sending in a check. Credit card is easier for me to track so I prefer that method. Btw... I apologize for double posting this question. I didn't see this one show up after posting so I assumed it got lost somehow. Sorry bout that.

I will email you when I send out the check.

Thanks,
Howard

I understand how paying by credit card is easier, and hopefully I'll eventually be able to do it.

No problem about the double post. The reason you didn't see it show up right away is I have this board on full moderation, so posts won't show up until they are approved. This was setup just to demonstrate how this works.

Rick,

You might consider looking into a company like iBill (http://www.ibill.com) to handle your credit card orders. Supposedly, you can use iBill even if you don't have a merchant ID. They act more or less as a reseller for your product (officially), which apparently allows you to get around the merchant ID.

I don't have a lot of information, because I only took a look at the service birefly.

Thanks for the info. I'll try to take a look at that soon and see what they have to offer.

Kagi ( http://www.kagi.com/ ) takes a smaller percentage than most other credit card hosting companies.

Thanks for the info. I think I finally found one that I will be going with. Just waiting on the paperwork now for the merchant account. So if all goes well, then I should be able to accept credit cards within a few weeks.

I used them for a while. I had problems with my users getting trash sex ads after they'd by from me. People would set up special e-mail accounts that they only use to register my product - and they'd start getting spam e-mail at some point down the road (weeks, usually).

If you can find some other service, don't use iBill.

Off Topic a little, but who did you use? We are looking for our online donations.

I went through EZMerchant accounts, http://www.ezmerchantaccounts.com. They had a reasonable startup fee compared to alot of the other ones that I looked at.
