Went over to the new site... some suggestions
Looks:
1. The site is too dark. I'd at least use white for the main text area
It has a professional look but not a welcoming community like feeling.
2. I'd change the graphic of two older male white hands shaking to something
more youthful or diverse (again community building versus business meeting feeling)
3.slightly larger font would make it more relaxed feeling
Content:
The categories are boring. If I were building your site (grin) I'd want it to ***scream*** THIS is a company that understanding what it takes to build a successful community....Rather than .. This is Another quality web software company for forums and chat:>
I could get more concrete, but I want to make sure I'm not too far afield of your goals and hopes first.
