I have to apologize if I ask stupid questions but I'm an absolute newbie regarding PHP, SQL and UBBThreads.
Here are my three questions:

1. why do the simleys/font colours/etc. get "lost" when I edit a post?
2. why do Netscape 4.7 Users have problems viewing our site (UBBT 6.0.2)?
3. since we had a problem with User registration, the .gif files (smileys, etc.) in the forum show up delayed (about 2-3 seconds or so).

Hi canvey!

Rick already solved the problem with User registration (newly registered Users weren't able to log in, despite a valid password and valid Username), had something to do with our SQL database.

I installed a test forum with full access for guests:

The Netscape problem is already solved, the other admin rewrote the stylesheets. Some stylesheet adaptation is still needed but this will be done tomorrow.

We still have the problem with editing posts when using smileys/UBB Code, just feel free to check it out.
