Can someone (Dave ) tell me where to go to adjust the default space between the pal boxes in col 1, 2 and 3?

Not sure exactly.

Do you mean the space up and down.... or the space between the columns themselves?

I know the space (up and down) between the pal boxes is siimply a <br /> in script. Not sure where the space between the columns (left/right) comes from.

space between col a, b and c

col <space> col <space> col

You can edit the index.php script to change that. Look for variables starting with this one:

$midcolstart = "</td><td><table width="15">

Adjust that table width from 15 to your desired size.
