For some reason I'm struggling with the transparency properties of a .gif image.

I've got a small image for "members" of our club that are on our site as well, but for some reason I can't get the yellow color in the stars to stay and keep from becoming the background color. Naturally, I do want the background of the image to be transparent and become the color of the table it pops up in, but how can I keep my stars "yellow"? Thanks in advance!

[Note: I've attached the image I'm referencing.}

The easiest way that I have found to make transparent gifs is at this website. http://www.gifworks.com/ I don't really have any photo editing software and wouldn't know what to do with it if I had it.

MANY THANKS! I've been trying all afternoon to get that, and failed. Mind if I ask which editor you used?

Thanks again!
