I recently installed RedHat 7.0 on my machine. Until that point i had a working version of your trial software running on a website. After upgrading however something went wrong. I saw that RedHat installed a new version of MySQL without removing the old one. So i uninstalled all MySQL packages and reinstalled MySQL. Now mysql is working again but i am still having trouble.
I decided to re-install all other required components, but got stuck trying to install the DBD Msql-Mysql-modules-1.2214.
it fails regardless of whether i try the automatic installation (CPAN) or whether i try to compile it on my system manually.
when i do a make test i get failures all over the place:
t/dbdadmin..........defined(@array) is deprecated at t/dbdadmin.t line 64.
(Maybe you should just omit the defined()?)
install_driver(mysql) failed: Can't load '../blib/arch/auto/DBD/mysql/mysql.so' for module DBD::mysql: undefined symbol: uncompress at /usr/lib/perl5/5.6.0/i386-linux/DynaLoader.pm line 200.

Perhaps a required shared library or dll isn't installed where expected

t/dbdadmin..........dubious
Test returned status 255 (wstat 65280, 0xff00)
DIED. FAILED tests 1-20

please any help would be appreciated..
thanks

btw, i put in an order for the full version last night..
