Problem: Running slower again, MySQL 3 is the bottleneck
Goal: To speed up the site adn use MySQL 4 again
Problem: MySQL 4 resulted in errors and corrupted indexes

Anyone have a solution?

If not we are going VBB next week.

I am pretty sure that I read about early versions of 4.x but I thought that they had gotten that straightened out with the newer releases.

Is this a NT box or a *nix box? I'm not sure if this is really relative, just trying to get get some info for the guru's to use.

mysql 4.0.15 has been released... more bugfixes

All sorts of bugs fixed related to indices.
