For those that like shades of brown here is one that's easy on the eyes

I've included the menubar, tdheader, and catandforum graphics as well as the table wrapper set for this style sheet (plus the tbopen.tmpl and tbclose.tmpl files you'll need if you want to use them). All you have to do is edit any path in the style sheet and templates to match your site and the directory where you store the graphics. Then upload the images to your site, and upload the tbopen.tmpl and tbclose.tmpl file to your templates/default directory (backup your existing templates first!).

How will the new templates for tbopen/tbclose effect my other stylesheets (and the defaults)?

If you are using the 5x3 table wrappers then the tbopen and tbclose templates in this set will work (in fact they are better in some ways).

If you are not using the 5x3 table wrappers then just don't use the tbopen and tbclose templates in this set. You won't get the table wrapper, but you'll get all of the other graphics.

Using this (or the 5x3) table wrapper with a style sheet that doesn't have any table wrapper graphics will also work, you'll just get a 10 pixel empty space around all the tables.

It I want to switch to the 5x3 style - is there a template for the graphics used?

Found it! Now if someone could explain to me how to export this template graphic into the right pieces, I would be golden!

I set my grid to 10 x 10 pixels and then I cut out gif files from the PNG.
