<br > is a breaking space. So as per that tag, any >br will have a height of 1px. (1 pixel)

That's not correct. Only linebreaks that are inside the <blockquote> tag are affected.
So this class will only affect linebreaks in in the ubbcode "quote".

I figured that was kinda obvious, since the tag was named blockquote
