Mod Name / Version - Image Gallery v1.2

Description - Turns a selected forum into a picture gallery allowing permitted groups to post and comment on uploaded imaged. Uses existing attachment features and file size limits.

Files Altered - showflat.php, showflat.tmpl, showthreaded.php, showthreaded.tmpl

Database Altered - no

Note: Use group permissions on forum(s) to determine who can post.
Any other info - This is a simple tweak. Works on 6.0.x

Yeah, this is an alternative to the hack around here that makes all attached images show up on all boards. I wanted to have just one board do this so I could pull that forum into an IIP homepage. Works great

I like the idea of having a board with a forum where you can upload images... it is a great idea...

I wanted to take a look at the Demo but I am always getting this error:

403.6 Forbidden: IP address rejected

The links do not work since he tossed Threads and runs another bulletin board now.

why would anyone do that? Especially if they've already used threads?

Lets see I am an old UBB diehard and then upgraded to Threads. I also own Vbulletin. It's a matter of features I guess. Treads is beat out by all the competition hands down on features. Now Threads is faster and thats what I like. Thats why I stay. I guess he weighted his options and found his users wanted features.
