MSN 6 forum tab - UBB.Developers

found this thread on msn 6 tabs, then I noticed another forum(not ubbthreads) had this added here
So anyone fancy the making the necessarys to sueeze threads into msn???

Also the passionford site has it's own installer(attached) not sure how to edit it myself though.

That is a very slick mod, it looks like it wants to work strictly on a Windows server, .net if possible

I am not sure though it could be that it will integrate on other environments, I just didn't see any other documentation than Windows. Here's a little more info on this http://www.neowin.net/comments.php?id=11300

All we need is a template making, but as I'm crap at template mods, err mods in general I thought I'd post it here, I've managed to get my site into MSN messenger already, just need a template to suit!

for example if I edit the file ConfigCache.xml in the folder D:\Documents and Settings\John Robins\Application Data\Microsoft\MSN Messenger\1234567890\

you'll see that you only need to edit the text between <tab> and </tab> to add another site,

it just needs someone who understands the code to create a page or two for all of us, If it's possible I should be able to have threadsdev and audi-sport.net both sat in Messenger while I'm at work and just flick through recent posts via the tabs

btw it'd be nice to be mentioned in the hack if anyone ever does it

Of couse as Wando did you can add more sites with <tab></tab> tags to add more pages. That one thread explained how he did it. I am not much of an MSN user but I can see where alot of people would like this.

Basically all it needs is a simmplified recent posts pages, try it and you'll see what I mean!
If you use the standard one it's a mess

I might just need to dust off my MSN 6 which sits there and never gets used.
