For along time, I've been annoyed by a little problem with the Cookies. My board will be working proplerly, and then for some reason, it will start to keep the "new topic" icon (the flashing light-bulb), and even if I read the topic, refresh the pages, and the front page, it will keep flashing, as if I never read the topic.

When I clear my cookies and what not, and start over, the problem will stop. But now, not even that is working. What the heck is going on?

Yesah that happens. Just use action=intro and not the BypassCookie part in the URL. Maybe that will help.
