This is probably a rather easy thing to do, I would assume. I'd like to inlude HTML in signatures, instead if it being disabled. Of course, I'm an ijit so I'd prolly screw it up if I jump in there and remove stuff wink

Anyway, I was wondering if anyone can help me out here? I'm running V.6 7.9 Beta.

It's mucho appreciated.

NOT SUGGESTED!

If I may ask, why is it not suggested?
Posted By: Kielso Re: HTML in signitures? - 02/23/2001 7:08 AM
Hmm...I couldn't find that line of code anywhere in ubb_profiles...
Posted By: Greg Hard Re: HTML in signitures? - 02/23/2001 7:30 AM
Because signature html is unfiltered. They could put WHOLe webpages in their sigs.

BW is more of a closed society of friends. We aren't really advertised, so not many new faces show up unless invited.

And the one who are there do not want to get banned..They spend more time there than out of the house I'm sure wink

ok then, that code is in ubb_profiles. Search for the first part and see if its one line in the earlier beta's.

Perl, not CGI. CGI is the interface. Perl is what is programed in. wink

I looked for the code MasterMind gave, but I couldn't find it, exactly. I have Ultimate Bulletin Board 6.0, Beta 8.1 . This is the code I found:

Code
code:

I see the key= stuff under the "signature" thing, but not the exact code you have up above. What should I change to put html in signitures?
