I have a lot of users on my forum who leave a window open on the forum topic view, and keep refreshing to see if there are any new topics.

Could someone create a simple bit of code that effects just the topic display page, where by you can set it to refresh itself every 2 mins.

though this might not be what you are looking for but in version 6+ within each users' profile is a link to update the icon notification graphics

click it ONCE - it takes you back to the front page of the board and any forums with new posts since you signed on or last clicked that link (whichever is later) will be noted

this is perhaps the greatest addition to this version

no its not quite what im after, but maybe someone could tweak that part of the code, so it just kicks in after a few mins on the forum topic page.
