Does the Megamod 2.1 Final for v6.2 work on v6.3 without any problems or does it need some proper porting?
I haven't gotten around to looking at the 6.3 files yet. (my license is currently being renewed).
But you can give it a shot, if you do, be sure to make back ups.
I was asking because I don't want to give it a shot until somebody else has =), v6.2 mods that fiddle with member profiles (Authority list etc.) seem to have problems under v6.3.
No it doesn't work, you hit some serious problems in the cp.cgi file, it looks as if a lot of the stuff has been blocked out or removed completely.
I can port it for you if you want. Auth List does work on v6.3 but I advise you not to use it on v6.3 as I am looking for more effective ways on opening those member files.
I'm only after MegaMod to be ported, that's the one having problems from cp.cgi onward =).

I've never been able to get a MegaMod hack working on my board.. Something just seems to wrong every time I try it.

mmm k avatars is no problem but polls still have a grouping problem megamods cant use them unless there set to all registered members

Orb seems to be working on it so if he can't do it I can give it a try. BTW, you will need to add an addon for the avatars too in the hack.
also if anyone can see where i set permisions for polls would be much apreciated
also where to set indiviual permisions for them
the hack can be used as is but polls must be set to all registered members if u wish it now let me know and ill doc what i have
thinking a little more first thing to be found would be the coding so i can add a check box for polls to allow megamods as the change in usersec.cgi might allow it to work as it does for avatars
Isn't MegaMod the deal where you can make individuals moderators for every forum?
If that's the case, I installed this hack to my 6.3 test board ... if there are issues, I guess I need to play around with it a little more.

Well, to be honest, I'm about ready to install the old avatar hack to my 6.3 board -- since I cannot get the current one to transfer over the custom avatars ... I wonder if that'll solve the issue.
