Icon to indicate if an image is displayed within post??

Basically it will add an icon to a post if someone has posted an image within the topic. much like this forum does: http://forums.vwvortex.com/zeroforum?id=27

I'm not sure if this is possible with the existing way things are set up.

Maybe you can use something like that to look for extensions jpg, gif, bmp. Although, it promises to be a fairly complicated hack, anything is possible (just don't ask me to do it )

I have a suggestion that I use on my forums. Use a camera image as a posting icon. It's not automatic but it works for me. It won't work if someone posts an image later in the thread... but it does work for the first person posting.

PS. I would have liked to see this as a hack also.
