hi there,
haven't found that feature in my brandnew 6.5 cp.cgi yet, so: does this feature exist? if not, what do YOU think about coding such a hack? well, i think this is VERY useful in case a fake registers and posts all night long crap into your bbs when no moderators and no admins are online. so, for example: i kicked a user several times out and he registered several new usernames, i didn't noticed that and meanwhile he posted 1.ooo postings during the last weeks. now a user told me about that fake and i'm just reading a bunch of these 1.ooo f*ckedup-crap-messages and deleting a bunch of 'em just to show him really, that next time i'll kick his ass and do send him an invoice for every single NEW posting using another and new fake. blocking ip does't help here in germany because with every new dial-in usually you'll get a new ip-adress.
so, a massMOVE is a nice thing, but i really would love to see some sort of massDELETE-feature.
any ideas, feedback, suggestions?
regards!
chris

control panel-->maintenance-->prune posts-->prune by registered member number

At least it was til 6.4, I haven't upgraded to 6.5 yet so I may be full of it.
wow, thanks, i expected to see that feature in the members-section of the cp.cgi *g* - works fine in 6.5 so far!

Whew, glad it worked.
FYI - the user prune only prunes topics created by the user. If you wish to delete all of the user posts, that's something else entirely.
I didn't know that, I've never actually used it.
