Seems currently banned users will receive an email if "Receive Email from Admin" is checked. Is there a quick/easy way to turn this off ? I suppose it could be consideed a "bug" instead of a feature request ?

Nothing like getting flamed after emailing a mass "latest news" and finding out someone has been banned And can;t even ban them .. err again

when you banned them, you only removed their access rights. You must delete them before the emails will stop

Assuming you're using 6.6... in the search used to generate the email list, simply tell it to exclude banned users.
