I've been searching the forums and I've found quite a bit of discussion on Coranto (...that was NewsPro).

It all seemed to die away around 2-3 years ago.

Still, I was wondering whether or not it was possible to link these two outstanding scripts together in nothing more than the log-in phase.

By that I mean, when you log in to UBB 6.7 (or whatever) - when you click on a news item in coranto - you won't need to log in to add an item.... get my drift?

There wouldn't need to be any other data shared - just the log-in credentials.

Is this possible?

It's possible, but with several versions of ubbnews-type mods it's not very practical tho, which is why it hasn't been pursued recently.

Does your site have a lot invested in coranto? Might be the best time to move to a ubbnews-typs mod, as it will be upgradable to the new forum stuff with content islands once it's out too

Yes, my site is entirely coranto based - but I am happy to reconsider that; as long as I can reproduce the effect that I am currently attaining.

I have to admit that I wasn't aware of ubbnews.

I am searching the forums now.
I'm running 6.7.1 - any particular version I should test?
