Okay, I don't know if this should be a mod request or not, but I thought I'd toss it out there and see what suggestions you can come up with. smile

With my site, I have an e-mail service that allows me to set-up e-mail with the @adwoff.com suffix.

I create an e-mail address for my moderators; some, to encourage feedback, put this e-mail address in their signature lines ... example (and this IS NOT a valid e-mail!): [email protected]

I know that there is the

Code
 [EMAIL][/EMAIL]
code ... but that "shows" the e-mail address, if you will, and that seems to be allowing trolls at my site to capture moderator e-mail addresses and spam them.

With http, one can create a hyperlink with the e-mail address -- example (again, not a valid address)

E-mail Me!

... using the "mailto" command

With the ubb code, the above link won't pop-up an e-mail; it pops up an invalid web page.

So, in my long, convoluted way, I'm asking how difficult would it be to make the e-mail code more like a "mailto" code in http--where instead of showing the actual e-mail address, it'll have a link SAYING it's an e-mail address.

Am I making any sense? laugh
